LOUISE SEIRMARCO-YALE has been an artist, teacher and influencer in the visual arts for more than six decades.
Over a period of ten years, thirty years ago, the author sold over a thousand paintings from her studio in Reston, VA. Themed exhibits every six months led her to a local, national, and international reputation.
Her painting studio remains active today as good painting ideas never stop. When Picasso was asked which was his favorite painting, he is said to have replied “the next one!” That is how Louise feels about being an artist. It is not like a garden where you can think, “I guess I won’t put one in this year!” It is a lifetime commitment she made many years ago. Her inventory at this writing is well into the 3000s with more on the way.
